📊 PCR — Put Call Ratio
PCR = Total PUT open interest ÷ Total CALL open interest. PCR > 1 = more bearish bets (bullish contrarian signal). PCR < 0.7 = market too optimistic (bearish signal). Sweet spot: 0.8–1.2 = neutral.
⚡ Max Pain
The strike price where option buyers (collectively) lose the most money at expiry. Option sellers (typically big players) push the price toward this level near expiry. If Nifty Max Pain = 24,000, expect price to gravitate there on expiry day.
📈 OI — Open Interest
Number of active/open option contracts. High OI at a strike = strong support/resistance. Rising OI + rising price = bullish. Rising OI + falling price = bearish. OI helps spot where big money is positioned.
🧱 CE Wall (Call Wall)
The strike with highest CALL open interest. Acts as strong resistance — market struggles to break above it near expiry. Think of it as a ceiling. If CE Wall is at 24,500, that's where market sellers are defending.
🛡️ PE Wall (Put Wall)
The strike with highest PUT open interest. Acts as strong support — market tends to bounce from this level. Think of it as a floor. If PE Wall is at 23,500, that's where buyers are protecting downside.
🔄 OI Change
How much OI changed since previous session. High OI Change = fresh money entering at that strike. This is often more important than total OI — it shows where new positions are being built today.
